A Nationwide Gateway to AI – Redesigned for the Digital Economy

The Bundesverband Digitale Wirtschaft (BVDW) e.V. is Germany’s leading association for companies with digital business models or those that use digital technologies as a key driver of value creation. As the voice of the digital economy, the BVDW helps shape industry standards, drive innovation, and support its members across diverse sectors.

For this project, I contributed to a digital transformation initiative that included a refreshed brand identity and the development of a new WordPress website. The aim was to create a platform that feels modern, accessible, and visually engaging while being easier for the BVDW team to manage. The result is a user-centered and future-proof website that strengthens the brand and delivers a smoother experience for its diverse audience.

Designing a Modern Identity and Digital Experience

As part of BVDW’s digital transformation, I worked on the redesign of the association’s corporate identity and website. A modular design system was created to ensure visual consistency and scalability across platforms, while also supporting a more accessible and user-friendly experience. The process was shaped by close collaboration with both developers and brand designers, ensuring that design, functionality, and brand language were seamlessly aligned. The result is a flexible and modern digital presence that reflects BVDW’s role as a leading voice in the digital economy.

Digital branding with an individualized AI model

During the BVDW project, the idea for Mutabor.AI was born. For BVDW, customized AI models were developed to generate digital assets that align seamlessly with the organization’s established brand language and identity. These models were individually trained to ensure that all outputs—from visual content to written materials—reflect a consistent tone, style, and design standard.

To guarantee both data security and compliance with local regulations, the AI model operates on a secure server located in Germany. In addition, the system integrates a carefully curated and continuously trained brand-specific AI, which allows it to adapt to evolving communication needs while maintaining brand coherence. Automated prompts further streamline the creative process, ensuring efficient production workflows and reliable quality across all generated assets.
